Project Manager (Full-Time / 100 % Remote)

FSO Consultants® is a dynamic and innovative consulting firm specializing in helping organizations navigate complex national security processes. We assist and advise our clients' Facility Security Officer in directing their organizations' security programs for the protection of classified national security information. 

As a Project Manager at FSO Consultants® you will play a pivotal role in leading consulting engagements, managing client relationships, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with a talented team of consultants to deliver high-impact solutions and contribute to the continued success of our diverse clients ranging from small and medium size enterprises to large Fortune 100 enterprises primarily focused on supporting Department of Defense contracts.

FSO Consultants® is seeking a highly organized and solution-focused Project Manager that can independently manage a client from beginning to end. This includes following up with company leadership, building the relationship, scoping the engagement, managing the project, and more.

• Work independently in a remote environment and support multiple customers

Required Results:

• Compliance and customer service. 

• Create and manage a fully formed Industrial Security program with ability to pass DCSA inspections on a moment’s notice based on FSO Consultants® templates and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a United States Citizen.

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

• 5 years prior military or DoD contracting experience preferred.

• Prior FSO experience is NOT required.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with corporate executives and federal regulators.

• Strong computer skills & proficiency within the following software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Familiarity with video conferencing software (Teams, Zoom)

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in a professional office environment preferred.

• Comfortable traveling to customer sites 10-20% of the time.
